Since the smart meter rollout in Germany isn't fully standardized yet, you'll begin with the SimplyFair tariff. Once your smart meter data arrives from your utility (within 8 weeks), you'll automatically switch to the dynamic tariff.
Ostrom works with local metering operators (gMSB) to ensure a smooth rollout:
• In partnered areas, you can order a smart meter when signing up with Ostrom — check the coverage map.
• Outside these areas, request one from your operator.
